Telluride's gondola joins two versions of a stay
Telluride town and Mountain Village are not competing descriptions of one place. They are two settlements with different settings, joined by a gondola connection that is central to understanding the destination.
Choose the accommodation with that distinction in mind. Check the gondola operating calendar and the final journey to the actual building; a connection between settlements does not establish a door-to-door route to every room.
The airport choice comes before the transfer
Montrose and Telluride airport arrivals imply different ground arrangements. Pick the actual gateway and reserve the relevant journey separately. The town-to-village gondola has another job entirely.
The school offers adult, children's and private instruction, with the selected product deciding the meeting location. Gold Hill and Palmyra belong to the advanced-terrain conversation rather than a first lesson.
Telluride's two-settlement structure is part of its appeal. Make it a deliberate choice about the kind of stay you want, then let the transport and teaching reservations support that version of the holiday.
