Grand Targhee asks you to choose a side of the Tetons
“Teton trip” sounds satisfyingly definite until transport enters the conversation. Grand Targhee's valley setting and Teton Village's setting are different propositions. An arrival associated with Jackson does not turn the two into equivalent daily journeys.
The operator publishes winter valley-bus information, a useful lead once the actual lodging and timetable are known. Work from that route, not from the broad regional name.
Even “first lesson” needs another choice
Start Me Up is aimed at first-time juniors and adults. Tiny Turns uses a separate young-child format, and wider group or private instruction serves other needs. The family may therefore need more than one booking structure, even when everybody is a beginner.
Choose by age and actual ability, then locate each meeting point. Targhee is a stronger comparison when those details remain visible: which side of the regional journey you will stay on, which lesson fits each person and which confirmed connection brings them to the mountain.
